This photo is a t-shirt on the floor that I captured yesterday. I want to remove the background into white by Photoshop so I used Quick Mask Mode tool.
Firstly, I press the Quick Mask Mode button and then I use Brush tool to paint over the t-shirt. Secondly, I press the Quick Mask Mode button again and then the selected line appears around the t-shirt which I painted.
Finally, I can press delete button to remove the background which is outside selected area. The background layer is white by default you can change any color if you want to.
If you want to cut or copy it to past it on the other background you must choose Select -> Inverse so it will be copied or cut inside selected area.
